Stampin' Up! Tidings and Trimmings

Does anyone ever realize how much they have actually bought on black friday until the packages start arriving?  I, for one, did not.  I have been working hard to create just the right packaging for the gifts I bought for my loved ones.

The ribbon from Stampin' Up! is by far my favorite, but truth be told, I have a love/hate relationship with it.  I love using it on my projects, but bows are not my friend...until now.  I stumbled across a handy little tool called...the 10 Second Bow Maker.  It is the BEST and it lives on my craft table now:)

Stampin' Up! Christmas Cards for Soldiers

We feel so blessed to have so many dedicated military men and women that sacrifice so much to protect our country.  

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, my family and I chose to make and donate Christmas cards for them.  

I don't know about you, but I have an awfully hard time parting with my Designer Series Paper (DSP), but this seemed like the perfect opportunity to use it.  I gathered it all up along with some of my retired cardstock (I can't seem to part with that either:) and we made 165 cards!

It was a great weekend spent together creating as we listened to Christmas music.
